  • Better Stands Program: raising awareness among our exhibitors and assembly companies so that they use reusable stands and thereby reduce waste generation;
  • Reduction of printed materials, which are FSC certified;
  • Use of LED lighting in the pavilion and spaces at Informa and optimization of the use of air conditioning to reduce energy consumption;
  • Interactive totems scattered around the event, to search for exhibitors and products, reducing the number of printed pocket maps;
  • Selective collection and environmentally correct disposal of all waste generated at the event;
  • We recycle the tarpaulins used at the fair for later donation to the NGO Safrater (Sociedade de Amparo Fraterno Casa do Caminho) for social actions;
  • Vegan and vegetarian food options in the event's restaurants and snack bars;
  • At the exit of the event, a place is provided for the conscious disposal of credentials that will be reused at future events.

Better Stands is a program by Informa Markets, organizer of TecnoCarne, which aims to achieve zero waste from stands by 2030. The initiative aims to encourage exhibiting companies to abandon the use of disposable (single-use) stands and prioritize use of reusable structures.

By making their stand projects sustainable, assemblers and exhibitors will be recognized with Bronze, Silver and Gold seals at their stands during TecnoCarne and after the event they will receive a digital certificate at their respective levels of progress.

Better Stands Bronze: This level involves the construction of stands in which the components, including walls, floors, furniture, equipment and lighting are 100% reusable and with a goal to be met at all Informa Markets events by next year.

Better Stands Silver:
Planned to be completed by the year 2027, at this level, in addition to including all elements of the bronze level, all structural objects, front and overhead signage, ceiling and exhibition displays must also be reusable.

Better Stands Gold: Designed for 2030, the final level incorporates all elements of the Bronze and Silver levels, adding graphics, decorative items and floor coverings to ensure zero waste generation.

Participation in the Better Stands program brings benefits to the entire events market, the main one being that the adoption of reusable structures will drastically reduce waste generation and consequently the environmental impact of events.

In partnership with Senai, the attraction of Fispal Tecnologia, Fispal Women Connected supports Safrater's project, Padaria Escola Tiãozinho. With the solidarity ticket, the food collected will be donated to Safrater, which aims to offer members of the 12 communities surrounding Americanópolis – Jabaquara, professional training and qualifications, the possibility of generating income and support for insertion into the job market.

During the in-person event, we encouraged food collection for the Cuida Alimenta project. All donated food will be destined for the project that aims to obtain resources to provide beneficiaries of the activities carried out by Safrater with quality food and nutritional content in accordance with the nutritional requirements defined by the National School Meal Program and all standards set out by municipal bodies.
